If you’re looking for a way to “give back” on Giving Tuesday, please consider a tax-deductible contribution to the CKCS Endowment Fund.
What will donations be used for?
As you may be aware, CKCS is piloting a new math program this year, which, if approved by the CKCS Curriculum Committee and Governing Council, will have a very large purchase (>$50,000) on our horizon. Did you know that since its inception, CKCS is 100% financially responsible (that is, we receive no district funding) for any Core Knowledge®-specific curriculum that is different than other public elementary and middle schools in the VASD? While we are working with the district to cover some of the per student costs as a public school, VASD contributions are not guaranteed.
Established with Madison Community Foundation (MCF) in 2016, the CKCS Endowment Fund creates long-term financial sustainability for our students to succeed. The fund generates an annual revenue for the school to maintain materials, classroom needs, operating costs, and scholarships to our alumni. This fund assures a life time of success for current and future generations of students.
Donate direct to PRT using the “Donate” button on the top of the PRT Facebook page. These donations support the schools immediate annual needs - making a difference now.
Checks can be made out to PRT or PASS and be mailed to or dropped off at:
