HOW DO I FIND OUT INFORMATION ABOUT BOARDS AND COMMITTEES IF I'M NOT READY TO JOIN YET?
All Board meetings are open to CKCS families to attend. This is a great way to learn more about the Boards and how they function, as well as ask questions you have about committees. To learn more about the individual boards an get their contact information, please visit the pages for PRT, Governing Council, or PASS.
DOES THIS CALENDAR HAVE ALL SCHOOL EVENTS?
The Calendar is the Parent Leadership Calendar. We do try to include school functions specific to CKCS, but recommend the school district calendar for a full calendar of events.
WHAT DO ALL OF THE ACRONYMS STAND FOR?
Here at CKCS we love a good acronym. Here are some of the most common:

WHAT IS THE ENDOWMENT?
The Endowment Fund is the permanent fund held by Madison Community Foundation on CKCS's behalf. This fund distributes an annual percentage to the school to provide additional and consistent funding to support the program needs. For more information go to the VOLUNTEER page under fundraising or contact PASS with any questions.
HOW DO I DONATE?
There are many ways to support the school. The Give Financially page offers additional information on a variety of ways to donate.
HOW DO I SPONSOR AN EVENT?
Individuals, families and businesses are welcomed to sponsor events.

What is Personalized Learning?
The term Personalized Learning (PL) refers to a diverse variety of educational programs, learning experiences, instructional approaches, and academic-support strategies that are intended to address the distinct learning needs, interests, aspirations, or cultural backgrounds of individual students.
CKCS has been working to implement the VASD Personalized Learning initiative supporting the District's mission "every student must be successful' since 2016.
